The 2015 Monte Carlo Yachts 86 is a standout in the 85–90’ class, combining Italian design pedigree with exceptional volume and performance. Designed by the renowned Nuvolari Lenard, this yacht delivers the presence and interior scale of a much larger vessel while maintaining efficient, owner-friendly operation.
Built with advanced composite construction, including carbon fiber and Kevlar reinforcement, the MCY 86 offers a solid, quiet ride paired with impressive performance from twin MAN V12, 1900 HP engines—cruising comfortably in the mid-20 knot range and reaching close to 30 knots when needed.
What truly differentiates this model is its wide-body design, maximizing interior living space. The full-beam master stateroom amidships rivals that of yachts well into the 100’ category, complemented by three additional guest cabins and separate crew quarters aft. The main salon is expansive, filled with natural light, and seamlessly connected to the aft deck—ideal for entertaining or extended cruising.
Outdoor living is equally impressive. The flybridge is oversized for this class, offering multiple seating areas, a full helm station, and optional wet bar—perfect for hosting or relaxing underway. Forward, a private bow lounge provides an additional entertaining space, while the hydraulic swim platform enhances water access and tender handling.
This 2015 MCY 86 represents a compelling opportunity for buyers seeking:
- The volume and layout of a 90–100’ yacht
- Proven performance and seaworthiness
- Contemporary Italian styling with timeless appeal
- A platform equally suited for private use or charter
Well-positioned in today’s market, the MCY 86 delivers a rare balance of luxury, performance, and value in its class.
